Bozzetto: painting the figure at Schoolhouse, Enniskerry, Oct '16

Once again Schoolhouse for Art in Enniskerry is hosting the 2 day Bozzetto figure painting workshop this month. The dates are Sunday 23rd and Sunday the 30th of October, 10.30am - 4.30pm. We'll be working from the nude model in one pose over the 2 days, so there'll be lots of scope to learn as much as possible. Materials needed will be:

• a canvas (40cm x 50cm or whatever size you prefer yourself),
• brushes,
• odourless solvent,
• palette (wooden preferably),
• a palette knife
• oil paints: (My preferred brands in brackets)                                                                                   1. Raw Umber (Sennelier or Old Holland) 2. White (Titanium White - Sennelier or Old Holland) 3. Yellow ochre (Sennelier, or Yellow Ochre Light - Old Holland) 4. Red (Chinese Vermillion - Sennelier or Transparent Red Oxide - Sennelier or Old Holland or Alizarin Crimson -Sennelier or Alizarin Crimson Lake Extra -Old Holland) 5. Black (Ivory black extra - Old Holland or Ivory Black - Sennelier)
